My name is Laura, I am a journalist/researcher specialised in Security Studies.
For the past decade I studied Arabic and Islamic Sciences in Yemen, wrote about the Pashtun borderlands between Afghanistan and Pakistan, observed the many shades of the Syrian Conflict from Lebanon and Turkey. I am now in Rome, wondering amid ruins and blocks.
My main areas of interest are Conflicts, Borders, and Peripheries.
